Job Vacancy: Content Creator Location: Derry (Travel essential) Job Type: Full-Time Permanent Hours: 37.5 per week Salary: £25,500 - £28,000 per annum ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging and high-quality content across various social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and drive traffic to our website. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, content creation techniques, and audience engagement strategies. Main Duties Include: Content Creation: Develop and execute engaging, creative, and innovative social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Plan and create a mix of text, image, video, and interactive content to maximise engagement and brand reach. Collaborate with the wider operational team to align content with campaign goals and brand messaging. Manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting of content. Adapt and optimise content for each platform, considering audience preferences and platform-specific best practices. Visual & Video Content Production: Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for social media use. Create short-form and long-form videos, including reels and promotional content. Work with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite ) to create visually appealing posts. Social Media Management & Engagement: Monitor and engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Stay updated with the latest social media trends, challenges, and algorithm changes to keep content fresh and relevant. Work closely with influencers, brand ambassadors, and partners to enhance brand presence. Analytics & Performance Tracking: Track and analyse social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions) using platforms like Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics. Provide monthly reports and insights on content performance and audience growth. Adjust strategies based on analytics to improve content effectiveness. Qualifications / Experience: Minimum Level 2/GCSE English and Maths qualifications Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Social Media Content Creator Strong content writing and storytelling skills Proficiency in video editing software Experience using social media scheduling tools Strong understanding of social media algorithms and platform trends Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas for content Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
