Are you driven to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need it most? A specialist SEMH provision in Manchester is looking for a committed and resilient Student Engagement & Behaviour Coach to support secondary-aged pupils in overcoming barriers and reconnecting with education.

In this impactful role, you will:
* Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Build strong, consistent relationships with students who may present challenging behaviours
* Use calm, structured de-escalation techniques to support emotional regulation and reduce conflict
* Work closely with teachers to adapt learning approaches and support individual progress
* Support pupils at risk of exclusion or transitioning from alternative provisions
* Encourage resilience, self-belief, and positive decision-making
* Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
* Has experience supporting young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours
* Is confident in behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
* Remains calm, patient, and composed in high-pressure situations
* Has a background in education, youth work, care, sports coaching, or alternative provision (highly desirable)
* Is resilient, proactive, and genuinely passionate about supporting young people
* Is seeking a long-term role with potential to secure a permanent position
