Nanny Housekeeper for two children age 13 & 8 in Shenfield, Essex

Position: Full-time Nanny Housekeeper
Start Date: Monday 3rd of June 2024 or as soon as possible if notice is required.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 7:30 pm (46 per week)
Salary: £35880- £38272
Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny Housekeeper to join a welcoming family in Shenfield, Essex. This full-time position involves providing exceptional childcare for the family's children and ensuring the smooth running of the household.
The oldest child B13 is a happy boy who is thriving at school. He loves all things sports related and has recently made the school football team. He will love you throwing a ball for him to practice his cricket batting technique.
Their younger daughter G8 is a confident bubbly girl and loves anything outdoors that involves sport. She has a real passion for gymnastics and trains regularly. Along with a local dance class shes a busy active girl with a real sunny disposition.
The family live near to the childrens school and actively encourage a walk home with nanny as a time to hear about the childrens day, make plans and bond with each other.
Responsibilities:
Childcare:
- Before school care and preparation.
- Pick up children from school and transport to various activities and clubs.
- Assist with homework and school projects.
- Organise play dates and ensure the children's happiness and well-being.
Pet Care:
- Care for a miniature schnauzer including walking, feeding, and taking to grooming appointments.
Housekeeping:
- Laundry and ironing for the family.
-Organising the childrens schedule and sports kits depending on their day
- General cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and organised home.
- Cooking nutritious meals for the children.
- Running errands as needed.
- Childcare and activities will take priority in the school holidays where you will be free to plan activities around the childrens interests.
Requirements:
- Fully Enhanced DBS check.
- Recognised childcare qualification.
- Full driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience working with children of a similar age.
- Excellent references from previous employers.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to multitask effectively.
