Overview
Clinical Development Nurse - Complex Care Homes at Barchester Healthcare. As a Divisional Clinical Development Nurse (RGN) at Barchester, you'll lead, support and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care for residents in our complex care homes across England.
You'll support the performance of each home to ensure it operates to the highest clinical standards. You will review the clinical governance database and KPIs for each home every month, analyse the results, and identify practical strategies to ensure all regulations are met and that care is continually improved.
You will work closely with the Managing Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff in each home to support continual improvement of standards and help implement key actions to address issues as they arise. Depending on the role, you may organise training, help attract senior clinical staff, or deliver clinical investigations. Regular travel across the division is essential.
About You
To join us as a Divisional Clinical Development Nurse at Barchester, you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration. You must provide evidence of continued professional development and have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements. You must have experience in a care home environment and be a confident clinical mentor, including with newly-qualified nurses. Your leadership, analytical mindset, ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on action plans enables you to achieve strong results.
