Offer description

Would you like to use your organisational skills to support projects that make a real difference to patient care across Scotland?

We’re looking for an experienced administrator to join our Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) Innovation Team. In this role, your expertise in planning, coordination, and attention to detail will help CfSD deliver innovative solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing NHS Scotland. You’ll play a vital part in shaping the future of healthcare delivery.

About us - What is CfSD?

The Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) is at the heart of NHS Scotland’s transformation. We lead national programmes that increase capacity, reduce unnecessary demand, and embed innovative technologies and new ways of working. Our mission is simple: deliver measurable improvements in care for patients across Scotland.

About the Role

As Project Administrator – Innovation, you’ll provide essential administrative and secretarial support to the CfSD Innovation team, enabling senior leaders to focus on their priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Diary management and meeting coordination – planning schedules, resolving conflicts, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
* Preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes at senior-level meetings, then tracking follow-up actions.
* Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including NHS Boards and Scottish Government teams.
* Managing confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Supporting the team with document preparation, presentations, and performance reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Handling varied tasks in a fast-paced environment, from organising travel and hospitality to maintaining electronic filing systems and tracking expenses.

This is a role where no two days are the same—you’ll be at the centre of projects that shape the future of healthcare delivery.

About you

You’re the kind of person who thrives on organisation and loves making things happen. If you enjoy variety, being the go-to person for support, and working in a role where no two days are the same, this could be perfect for you.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Brings exceptional organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities with ease.
* Communicates confidently and professionally, building strong relationships across teams and handling sensitive information with discretion.
* Has proven experience in administration, ideally supporting projects or working within the NHS/public sector.
* Is tech-savvy, comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and confident in minute-taking.
* Can work independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and keep calm under pressure.
* Interested? Apply today, we'd love to hear from you.
