Primary PPA Teacher – Supply Roles (Sheffield & Barnsley) Location: Sheffield & Barnsley Contract: Full-time / Part-time – Supply / Long-term cover / Day to Day Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role We are currently recruiting for flexible and enthusiastic Primary PPA Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Sheffield and Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety in their week, teaching different year groups and subjects across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You will provide high-quality teaching during teachers’ PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time, ensuring consistency and engaging learning experiences for pupils. Whether you’re looking for long-term cover or flexible day-to-day supply, we can offer regular work to suit your schedule and preferences. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners and maintain progress across classes. Uphold high standards of behaviour and learning within each classroom. Work collaboratively with school staff and follow each school’s policies and ethos. Provide a positive and supportive presence across a variety of primary settings. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching within primary education (EYFS–KS2). Flexibility, adaptability, and strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
