We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You will ensure effective delivery of PPM, reactive calls and additional small works, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm equipment to relevant legislative and qualitative standards.
* Maintain appropriate documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.
* Ensure high levels of health and safety requirements and use proper fault‑finding techniques.
* Actively attend and participate in company‑initiated training to maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge.
* Participate in accident reporting, RAMS and safety legislation compliance.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role carrying out PPM, reactive calls and small works in the fire & security systems industry.
* Experience with service test and inspection to the relevant standards/codes.
* Excellent communication skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to work independently with little supervision while taking initiative and sharing technical knowledge with colleagues.
