Overview
Grade UE03: £23,742 to £25,804 per annum. CSG / Accommodation, Catering & Events. Full-time: 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday: 07:30 - 15:00, subject to change). Open-ended (permanent).
The Opportunity
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our dynamic and fast-paced catering team at The View, located within the Easter Bush campus. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to a diverse customer base, including students, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will support the team across both restaurant service and delivered catering operations, ensuring day-to-day activities run smoothly and efficiently.
As a Chef De Partie, you will assist the chefs in the kitchen in the preparation of all food items from our restaurant, delivered catering and grab-and-go menus. You will work as part of a team in the efficient delivery of our food offer to our students, staff and external guests throughout the year.

We also operate 17 cafes and a range of other catering products to students and staff across the University estate. Under our commercial brand, The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection, we deliver hotel accommodation options to around 200,000 guests each year plus an extensive selection of conference, catering and event services to over 2,000 events.
