As a Key Account Manager for OR and OEM, youll be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth within EMEA, as well as planning and managing all sales activities within your assigned market. Youll be working with an internationally renowned, prestigious customer base including the likes the John Deer, CAT, and JCB.
Ultimately, youll be responsible for increasing the companys market share, by providing business intelligence and establishing clear goals, strategies, and initiatives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Lead product sales, implementing company strategies to develop and sustainably grow your customer base
2. Develop tactics and long-term sales strategies geared toward gaining market share and increasing profitability
3. Continually evaluate the timely adjustment of sales strategies and forecasts to meet changing market competitive conditions
4. Lead the review, analysis, and recommendation of new business opportunities
5. Work with the Sales Director to define and deliver the firms value proposition to the market, including Service, Price and Product sales strategies
6. Develop & maintain strategic accounts, nurturing effective executive level relationships and broad networks
7. Create and maintain annual running customer forecasts for financial, AOP, and operations planning purposes
8. Work with others across sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and finance to reinforce a positive brand promise to customers
9. Coordinate and utilise market research, benchmarking, and service data as necessary to identify market opportunities
10. Submit and manage quotations and relative updates to Customers
11. Control internal Margin of the assigned accounts
12. Manage Price lists and negotiate Price increases with assigned accounts
Essential Skills & Experience
13. 5 years minimum of proven sales management & business development experience in technical sales or product management within the manufacturing markets
14. Bachelors degree (Engineering or Technical preferred)
15. Excellent communicator, possessing strong analytical abilities
16. Demonstrable effective leadership and people management, proactive and positive attitude
17. Excellent interpersonal skills
18. Effective Time Management skills
19. CRM System experience
20. Clean driving license
Must be willing to travel approx. 50% of time to customer sites, events, and to other company locations
Must be within 1 hour commuting distance to Pontypool
Desirable experience
21. Experience in Automotive, Off-highway, Brake components, Hydraulic or Mechanical industries
22. Second language i.e. German, French, Spanish, Italian, other
