Overview
The role is to provide strategic clinical leadership as a senior member of the Midlothian Health & Social Care Partnership (MHSCP) Executive Management Team, ensuring robust clinical governance and driving service redesign aligned with national and local priorities.
Responsibilities
Main Duties of the Job
* Lead the development and planning of clinical services across MHSCP.
* Ensure safe, effective, and high‑quality care through strong clinical governance.
* Manage and support clinical staff including consultants, GPs, and the lead pharmacist.
* Drive service transformation to address health inequalities and improve patient experience.
* Represent MHSCP in regional forums and contribute to NHS Lothian‑wide planning.
Provide clinical leadership to the Integration Joint Board (IJB) if nominated.
