The Role
We’re looking for a skilled butcher to join our team. In this role, you’ll use your butchery expertise to prepare high-quality products that meet both customer and company needs, while providing friendly, helpful service through advice, recommendations, and support.
This is a great opportunity for someone with proven butchery experience who takes pride in their craft and enjoys delivering top-quality products and service.
£12.71 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Preparing different cuts of meat as per customer and company specification
2. Greeting and serving customers.
3. Assisting customers with their purchases and providing product knowledge.
4. Preparation of counter and pre-pack areas.
5. Product sampling.
6. Stock rotation.
7. Receiving deliveries and completing paperwork required.
8. Special offer material distribution.
9. General cleaning.
The Ideal Candidate
10. Previous experience in a retail butchery experience.
11. Proven customer service excellence.
12. Determination to drive sales.
13. Knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
14. Support to deliver and train new people.
15. Deadline focused.
16. Flexible within working hours.
17. Ability to support store manager when not on site and act in a professional manner.
18. Strong communicator.
19. Competent to work well under pressure.
20. A keen interest in developing a career within the trade.
21. The ability to work on own initiative.
