To be successful as a Database Engineer, you should have:
* Expertise in Ansible for database server configurations
* Experience with devops automation tools such as Git, JIRA, and database CI/CD tools
* Good knowledge of leading SRE practices in large organizations or complex teams
* Working knowledge of MongoDB
Additional valued skills include:
* Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and migration tasks

3. Develop tools and scripts to automate operational processes, reducing manual workload and improving system resilience.
4. Monitor and optimize system performance and resource usage, addressing bottlenecks and applying best practices for tuning.
5. Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability, scalability, and performance best practices into software development.
6. Stay informed of industry trends and contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
