Our client, a growing high‑voltage contractor in the power utilities sector, is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Engineer to join their team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to begin their career in power distribution, supporting a range of projects from renewable energy solutions to overhead line schemes.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pricing and tendering for new project enquiries
* Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate cost assessments
* Assisting with project estimations from LV to 11kV, with progression towards 33-132kV
* Preparing detailed and competitive bid proposals
* Liaising with contractors, suppliers and clients throughout project stages
Job Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or Power Systems Engineering)
* Foundational understanding of the power transmission and distribution sector
* Interest in developing a career in estimating or design within power utilities
* Full right to work in the UK
