As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to support our growing customer base across the UK and Northern Ireland.
Core Objectives
* To attend and service customer sites across the UK & NI
* Commission, install, repair, and maintain manual and automated labelling machinery
* Provide on-site training and technical support to end-user stakeholders
* Fault find to component level using engineering and electrical drawings
* Communicate with customers on product ranges, updates, improvements, and sales opportunities
* Encourage SLA and ad hoc service agreements with end users
* Promote our label and ribbon consumables
* Liaise effectively with internal teams: planning, engineering, and commercial
* Maintain accurate electronic service reports, van stock records, and expenses
* Provide remote support from home on non-travel days (telephone support, remote diagnostics, customer modifications)
* Be flexible for occasional overnight stays (fully expensed)
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Electromechanical background
* Skilled in fault finding with modern electronics, ideally to component level
* Able to read and understand engineering and electrical schematics
* Confident working with PCs and Windows-based software
* PLC knowledge is a distinct advantage
* Experience or understanding of pneumatics and light mechanics (training can be provided)
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Proactive, self-organised and a team player
