Job Opportunity: Switchboard Operator
Location: Nottingham
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: Temp to perm basis paying £11.44 per hour.

As a Switchboard/FSD Operator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality telephone answering and FSD helpdesk services. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, you will be the frontline communicator for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answering incoming phone calls and directing them appropriately
2. Taking messages and ensuring timely delivery to the intended recipients
3. Efficiently transferring calls to the relevant departments or individuals
4. Monitoring the FSD mailbox and promptly responding to all emails
5. Managing room bookings for the site
6. Overseeing the Access management system, issuing new starter and replacement cards/passes
7. Handling stationery and catering consumables orders
8. Providing exceptional customer service and managing expectations
9. Liaising with various stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships
10. Understanding and operating procedures and processes to the required standard
11. Clear and effective communication of messages and ideas
12. Fulfilling any reasonable requests from management
Qualifications:
13. GCSEs
Training:
14. Excellent PC skills, with experience in Word/Excel and Outlook
Experience:
15. Desirable: 2 years' experience in a similar role with switchboard operation experience
16. Desirable: Some financial/accounting experience may be advantageous
