Main duties of the Freight Administrator
* Coordinating and processing freight documentation, including invoices, and customs paperwork
* Communicating with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and compliant freight movement
* Maintaining accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory using internal systems
* Preparing reports on freight activity, costs, and performance metrics for management review
* Supporting the operations team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and filing
* Assisting in the continuous improvement of freight processes and administrative procedures
Key competencies of the Freight Administrator
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data
* Customer service orientation with a proactive and flexible approach
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel

The Freight Administrator position is a fantastic full-time, permanent opportunity offering a competitive annual salary of up to £27,000. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 09:00 to 17:00.
