Job Description
Environmental Co-ordinator required for a site-based role, working on behalf of our client, a major EPCI contractor, based in NE England.
Previous experience in a similar role, working on large-scale onshore and offshore oil & gas sector projects is essential (minimum of 8 years experience).
As Environmental Coordinator, you will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the Company HSE guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
* Implement construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activities
* Review and monitor Subcontractor compliance to environmental requirements
* Management of site environmental issues
* Coordinate and communicate with environmental agencies, local authorities, internal company departments, and relevant external stakeholders
* Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and investigations
* Complete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections, and produce reports and data
Qualifications & Experience
* BEng or BSc in environmental engineering or similar
* 5-8+ years experience in offshore and onshore oil & gas sector projects
* ISO 140001 Lead Auditor certification
* Technical environmental knowledge regarding UK regulation for onshore and offshore projects
Job Details
* Full-time contract role, duration approximately 18 months
* Location: Site based in NE England
* Occasional travel to London required
* Rate: £600-650 per day; please contact us directly for further details
