IT Business Analyst – Workday Integration (M/F/D) at Essity
Are you a problem solver who thrives on solving complex integration challenges? Do you want to shape how global HR systems connect and evolve in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? This role focuses on Workday integrations within the Global Digital and Business Services (GDBS) team.
As an IT Business Analyst, you will act as the first line of contact for the business and join our GDBS team, specializing in Workday integrations. You will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining integrations, and in fixing issues together with HCM stakeholders. You will identify sustainable solutions to connect IT systems within the HCM area, including root-cause analysis and collaboration with IT colleagues.

What You Will Do
* Create new Workday integrations using RaaS, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, PECI and assign required security.
* Provide day-to-day support to existing HCM integrations, resolve complex technical issues.
* Ensure local HR systems and processes are documented and aligned with HR strategies and policies.
* Monitor integration performance and take corrective actions when needed.
* Translate business needs into technical solutions in partnership with HR and IT teams.
* Support Workday Update cycles by researching upcoming features, understanding impact on current processes, and leading/testing efforts.
* Engage in HCM governance forums and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Who You Are
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying integrations, preferably Workday solutions.
* Proficient in HCM fundamentals and Integration Security.
* Solid understanding of cloud computing, web services and related integration challenges.
* Experience with PECI connectors (ideally ADP) is a strong plus.
* Project management experience and stakeholder collaboration capabilities.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented mindset.
