Accounts Senior - Hotel Accounting As a Senior in AAB Hotel Accounting business you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts and related reports for allocated hotel clients. In order to provide a high standard of service to your clients we expect you to develop a strong understanding of their business, provide them with actionable insight and help drive efficiencies. Duties include, but are not limited to: Full ownership of the monthly management accounting cycle for your clients Review the work of junior staff, and be willing to devote time to coach and develop them Work with the Technology Systems team to help design and implement innovative reports and dashboards for clients to access in real-time via smartphones and tablet Work closely with the Finance Operations team to ensure efficiency of the Purchase to Pay cycle and accurate recording of accruals and prepayments Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and audit requirements by maintaining robust controls Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, initiating ideas to develop processes and controls. Liaise with auditors during clients' external audits. Analysis of KPI's & metrics as required by clients and company management Dealing with ad hoc queries from hotel clients on top of BAU work Please not that this is not an exhaustive list of duties. Experience and skill set required for the role: Minimum of 2 years' relevant practical work experience Proactive self-starter with ability to problem solve Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of Excel skills would be very advantageous The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail Organising and prioritising work to meet reporting deadlines Experience of Navision or other ERP systems highly desirable ADZN1_UKTJ
