We are inviting applications for an English Teacher at a dynamic secondary school located in the Tonbridge area. This is a permanent position ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about imparting literary knowledge and enhancing student communication skills, starting from September.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring English lessons to students across different secondary school grades.
* Assess and review student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
* Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and examination specifications for English.
* Encourage students to think critically about texts and express their ideas clearly and confidently.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and whole school training events.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and high standards of achievement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
