Key Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst for Direct To Consumer (DTC) plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across our direct revenue channels. This role partners closely with studio teams, Product, Engineering, and Finance to translate complex data into clear insights that shape product strategy, accelerate revenue growth, and optimize the end-to-end DTC experience. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, business-minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-evolving DTC environment that includes web portals, alternative payment methods, loyalty and rewards, VIP programs, and experimentation-driven optimization.
Responsibilities
1. Partner with studio teams to analyze DTC performance and deliver insights that directly drive DTC revenue growth across titles.
2. Proactively identify opportunities to increase DTC channel revenue, including funnel optimization, pricing strategy, offer design, and feature adoption.
3. Define, track, and report on key DTC KPIs, building dashboards and analyses to support leadership and studio decision-making.
4. Transform data insights into actionable recommendations for product and service quality optimization, identifying negative drivers impacting monetization, retention, and overall performance.
5. Own the setup, execution, and evaluation of A/B testing across DTC initiatives such as checkout flows, offers, bundles, loyalty, and VIP programs.
6. Partner with Product, Engineering, and studio teams to ensure proper tracking, experimentation frameworks, and data integrity across DTC systems.
7. Support revenue forecasting, scenario modeling, and business cases for new DTC initiatives.
8. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
9. Have a good understanding of the data sources and be able to communicate their limitations and nuances to the business.
10. Lead investigations into irregularities in the metrics, combining data from multiple sources to answer complex questions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
11. 5+ years of experience analyzing, visualizing, and interpreting data in a business or product analytics role.
12. Demonstrated strong business judgment, with the ability to generate meaningful insights and actionable next steps from complex, ambiguous data.
13. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
14. Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to distill large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
15. Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
16. Advanced proficiency in SQL, Hive, or other querying languages used for large-scale data analysis.
17. Working proficiency in Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
18. Comfortable partnering in technical discussions and cross-functional business initiatives.
Bonus Experience
19. Experience working in mobile gaming, DTC platforms, or broader consumer commerce ecosystems.
20. Familiarity with alternative payment methods, web-based checkout flows, or app store payment models.
21. Experience partnering with multiple product teams or studios in a multi-product or multi-tenant environment.

23. Measurable improvements in DTC revenue, conversion rates, and retention driven by analysis and experimentation.
