Job Summary Digital and Data Services at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) for Nursing and AHPs. This is an exciting new role that will be a crucial part in helping drive digital transformation and digital clinical innovation. This role is strategic, will report directly to the executive CDIO and will lead our Transformation pillar, working as a tri‑mare with the medical CCIO and the EPR Transformation Director.
The role will work as an integral part of the nursing and AHP clinical leadership team, and in partnership with colleagues at Pennine Care Foundation Trust. Ideally, we would like someone with substantial CXIO experience who is ready to lead significant digital and data transformation. We are ambitious; the ideal candidate will share our ambition and our passion for digital enablement and transformation, converting the objectives set out in our Digital and Data strategy into real world clinical improvements, ultimately benefiting our service users. Main duties
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Leading the implementation of the digital and data strategy for nursing and AHPs and ensuring effective communication and engagement across professional networks.
* Acting as a clinical champion for digital and data working, promoting safe, efficient care and improved outcomes.
* Providing expert advice on ethical, privacy, and governance considerations in digital and data practice.
* Collaborating with internal, regional, and national partners, including NHSE, professional bodies, research organisations, and industry, to influence policy and best practice.
* Delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences and identifying opportunities to transform care through technology and data insights.
* The CCIO (N&A) will maintain active professional registration and demonstrate experience in leading complex change within healthcare organisations. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic vision, and the ability to influence at senior levels to ensure digital solutions meet clinical needs and deliver measurable benefits.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse or Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP)
* Educated to master's level or actively working towards this, or equivalent relevant experience
* Recognised leadership qualification or demonstrable leadership experience
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to lifelong learning
Experience
* Significant experience in a senior nursing or AHP role within a specialist provider setting
* Proven track record of leading complex change programmes and delivering measurable, sustained improvements
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet challenging deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure
* Experience in developing business and workforce plans aligned to future service needs
* Experience in motivating, developing, and enhancing individual and team performance
Knowledge
* Comprehensive understanding of clinical and corporate governance, financial management, health and safety, and human resources policies
