Salesforce Release Manager
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: 3 days per week in Milton Keynes
Pay: inside IR35, up to £440 per day
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to manage the release lifecycle of Salesforce solutions across the bank's digital estate, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant platform changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Release Planning & Governance:
- Manage the Salesforce release calendar, ensuring alignment with broader change governance.
- Lead planning meetings and collaborate with Change Management to meet compliance standards.
Deployment Execution:
- Oversee end-to-end deployment across Salesforce environments using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Copado).
- Ensure GDPR compliance through sandbox refresh and data masking.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the point of contact for development teams, business leads, and platform owners.
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
Risk & Quality Control:
- Ensure all releases comply with bank policies, including audit trails and rollback procedures.
- Support audits with relevant deployment evidence.
Continuous Improvement:
- Promote DevOps best practices and streamline release processes.
- Monitor metrics and perform root cause analysis.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Salesforce release management in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks.
- Proficient with Salesforce deployment tools (GitHub, Copado, Gearset).
- Understanding of GDPR, FCA compliance, and data governance.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Salesforce Admin/Platform App Builder Certification.
- Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence.
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
