Driver Hire Colchester& Sudbury are currently recruiting for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join our team for temporary, ongoing shifts.
Our clients are based across the CO postcode; Harwich, Clacton, Colchester, Sudbury, Halstead. They require drivers to cover busy periods, sickness and holiday.
Job Details:
* Work is varied; Flatbeds, Palletwork, General haulage etc
* Start times varybetween04:00 and 07:00 AM.
* Monday to Friday day work
* Part-time shifts currently available, full time shifts available from March
* Shift length:Minimum pay 8hrs per day,
* Pay rate varies;minimum pay starts at £15.00 per hour, weekend and nights
Requirements:
* Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.
* Minimum 2yrs experience
* Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).
* Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).
* Must be able to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.
