An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and customer focussed Restaurant and Bar Manager to join the team at Taplow House Hotel & Spa.
Competitive salary £35k - £38k pa + a share of monthly service charge.
What We Are Looking For:
Someone with a proven background in managing a restaurant and bar operation within a 4 star / 4 red star hotel. The successful candidate will lead by example, taking full control and ownership for the management of the food & beverage department within the overall policies and controls established by the hotel. They should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:- I mplement, maintain and constantly improve departmental operating standards.
To create and maintain a selling service culture within the department and ensure all team members are sales focussed.
Plan, implement and review food and drink promotions.
To ensure all procedures and processes for food and drink service are strictly followed at all times to meet hotel and guest requirements.
To control and monitor payroll costs for the department by allocating labour resources in line with forecasted business levels through payroll management.
Ensure liquor stock-takes are carried out as required.
Be a team player committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and previous experience of managing a team.
Knowledge of cocktails would be advantageous.

Ability to work under pressure.
Schedule:
8 hour shifts over 5 days.
Evenings and Weekends will be required.
