The Opportunity
A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Bath is seeking a committed and adaptable Chemistry Teacher to join their Science department on a cover basis, starting as soon as possible.
This role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher who is available immediately and open to a role that has the potential to develop into a long-term placement for the right candidate.
The Role
* Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 may be available for suitable candidates)
* Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons as part of an established cover arrangement
* Supporting pupils to make strong academic progress
* Maintaining a positive and safe learning environment
* Working collaboratively within the wider Science department
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
* Specialism in Chemistry (or strong Chemistry subject knowledge)
* Confident and flexible, with the ability to step into a cover role effectively
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Passionate about Science education and student achievement
