Maintenance Electrician (Rewiring)
Coalville
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay: £23.00 - £24.00 per hour (paid weekly)
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our In-House Repairs Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy, supportive team carrying out a wide range of electrical installations and testing works across both occupied and vacant housing stock within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out all electrical works to the required standard in line with current regulations and manufacturer instructions.
* Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and within agreed timescales.
* Work closely with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed effectively.
* Use all tools, equipment, and materials responsibly and safely.
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
Essential Criteria:
* Full UK driving licence and own transport covered by business insurance.
* Able to provide two years of references, including one from your most recent employer.
* Previous re-wiring experience is highly desirable.
Training Requirements:
Candidates must hold up-to-date certification in the following areas:
* Working at Height
* Manual Handling
* Asbestos Awareness
* COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
