About the role:
Wesleyan is on a continued journey of transformation across all areas of the business, which means our Change team have multiple projects to own and deliver. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support us in delivering these critical initiatives and other BAU projects.
What you’ll be doing:
* You’ll provide technical expertise and support our projects through the full lifecycle, from requirements elicitation, process analysis, and pre-project analysis. You’ll critically review and evaluate any proposed solutions to identify alignment with business requirements and make recommendations to Programme Management, ensuring they are fully aware of key risks and assumptions. You’ll be:
* Facilitating workshops, focus groups and planning groups with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.
* Drafting and obtaining sign off for project documentation to support Agile, Iterative or Waterfall frameworks. This may include: - Business Requirements Documents, Business Design documents, Process Maps, Context Diagrams, Use Cases, User Stories, Communication Plans, Risks and Issues logs, Business Benefits Realisation Plans and KPI reports.
* Coordinating and supporting initiatives through to implementation delivering business benefits
* Drafting and obtaining sign off for project documentation, which may include; Business Requirements Documents, Business Design documents; Process Maps, Communication Plans, Risk and Issues Logs, Business Benefits Realisation Plans, KPI reports
* Acting as technical knowledge custodian, change advocate and cultural champion for the Programme
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, business users, senior operational management, customers and third parties
What we’re looking for:
* Extensive experience within a comparable Business Analysis role, successfully designing, shaping and implementing business outcomes for a range of projects and programmes, working across the full project lifecycle, within either Waterfall or Agile methodology
* Experience of applying analytical techniques to identify underlying issues and business needs
* Fantastic stakeholder management and communication skills- with the ability to successfully manage a range of differing requirements, adopting effective communication strategies
* Secures buy-in and commitment from others, both inside and outside of the project team, in order to build positive working relationships and joint successes
* Responds quickly and decisively to tackle significant issues, keeping others focused and on track in agreeing and delivering effective counter measures
* Good team player, who is motivated to help coach and mentor other members of the team
* Ideally you will have experience of working in Regulatory and Transformation, alongside Financial Services industry experience
* It would be great if you have a professional qualification from ISEB, BCS or IIBA, but this is not essential to be successful with us
