Job description
The Job:
1. Lead and manage teams delivering civil engineering design solutions for land development projects.
2. Provide a broad understanding of utilities, drainage, and external works design, ensuring integration across disciplines.
3. Prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to winning bids.
4. Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality assurance, budget control, and programme compliance.
5. Act as a technical authority and mentor for junior and senior engineers.
6. Engage with clients, stakeholders, and statutory providers to manage approvals and resolve conflicts.
7. Drive innovation and best practice in design processes and digital engineering (Civil 3D, drainage modelling software desirable).
Desired Experience:
8. Significant experience in land development engineering, including drainage, utilities, and external works.
9. Strong Civil 3D expertise.
10. Familiarity with drainage software (InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow) desirable but not essential.
11. Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution.
12. Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
13. Analytical, proactive problem-solving approach with ability to deliver integrated design solutions.
