This is for a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high quality branded products. This client is passionate about their brand and the work they do!
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
1. Overseeing the Warehouse operations
2. Ensuring reported stock levels are up to date and accurate
3. Making sure stock is stored correctly and safely
4. Supervise and support staff to ensure optimum efficiency
5. Complete DR investigations effectively and efficiently
6. Liaising with the logistics team to ensure OTIF’s are met
7. Assist the Stock Manager when required
8. Adhere to KPI’s and SLA’s
9. Check & book in deliveries
10. Effective people management of your team with the ability to improve morale
11. Reviewing standards and working practices to support the achievement of all objectives
12. Take ownership and play an active part in recruitment, attendance management and the success of your team
13. Ensure housekeeping is kept to high standard, maintaining H&S standards within the business
14. Assist the logistics team with dispatching orders
Hours of work will be 7am-3:30pm Monday – Friday, workload requirements may require additional support, the business operates shifts between 06:00 – 22:00 therefore, may require cover during peak, holiday or sickness cover.
Requirements for this role
15. Experience in a similar supervisor/team leader role is essential
16. Strong management style and people skills.
17. Spreadsheet and database skills including Microsoft Office programs
18. Sage 200 experience (Desirable)
19. Excellent communication skills at all levels
20. The ability to lead, supervise, develop and motivate staff
21. FLT License for Counterbalance/Reach Truck
