We're working with a standout legal team ranked in the Legal 500, seeking a Planning & Environmental Associate to join their growing practice. Based in Southampton, you'll have the chance to work on high-impact commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments for national and regional clients-ranging from regeneration schemes to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
As a key part of this ambitious, collaborative team, your remit will include negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements, advising on applications and development consent orders, and offering strategic, commercially focused planning advice. You'll also contribute to property transactions across both public and private sectors.
This opportunity suits someone with a grounding in planning law-whether through a training seat or post-qualified experience. Bonus points if you bring exposure to development, energy, or environmental matters (though not essential). What matters most is your ability to forge strong client relationships, deliver thoughtful advice aligned to business goals, and thrive in a team passionate about innovation and working together.
