Main Duties of the Job
To provide physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients in a range of settings and specialties including Outpatients, Neighbourhood Multi-professional Teams, Orthopaedics, Acute Therapies, Mental Health, and Paediatrics. To promote and facilitate patient independence, and health and well-being, within professional guidelines and protocols.
Bank band 5 Physiotherapists will be asked to work in several different teams within the specialties above depending on service demand and staffing levels. They will be responsible for their own caseload, evaluation of interventions, and documentation alongside CSP standards.
Job Responsibilities
To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own work including a designated caseload and prioritisation for your work area, balancing other patient-related and professional demands.
To undertake comprehensive assessments of patients who present with a wide range of symptoms and pathologies, using appropriate clinical reasoning and manual skills.
To carry out assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation of clinical treatment or care plans ensuring that care needs and wishes of the individual are carefully and accurately documented.
To set appropriate and effective therapeutic goals for patients with their agreement and to evaluate and monitor outcomes enabling patients to reach their optimum level of independence.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy
* HCPC Registered
* Evidence of ongoing CPD/Reflective Practice in line with job role
* MCSP

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year pro rata per annum.
