What You'll Do
* Accurately diagnose and repair a full range of automotive service issues on diesel vehicles, including electrical systems, engines, transmissions, suspension, braking, and emissions systems.
* Use diagnostic and shop equipment confidently, adhering to safety protocols.
* Perform routine inspections, tests, and maintenance on engines and other major components.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in the automotive and diagnostic fields.
* Ensure a safe, clean working environment and comply with all safety and environmental standards.
* Communicate effectively with service advisors and complete accurate repair orders.
What We're Looking For
* ASE certifications (or a willingness to obtain them).
* Prior experience in automotive repair and diesel vehicle maintenance, medium and heavy duty trucks/school buses required.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent customer service skills.
* A high school diploma or GED.
* A valid driver's license.
* Full set of tools.
* Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
