We are looking for
a dynamic senior nurse who can multi-task, make high level decisions and demonstrate excellent people skills. Due to career progression an opportunity has arisen for this permanent Band 8a Matron post within the BRHC. The role will initially include the oversight of the surgical speciality inpatient areas (Daisy Ward and Penguin Ward) and management of Clinical Nurse Specialists, as well as link matron roles and becoming part of the duty matron rota. The ideal candidate for the role will:
1. Have significant experience in problem solving, using their initiative and providing a clear vision.
2. Have the ability to proactively lead and problem solve to resolution.
3. A prompt and clear decision maker.
4. Be an experienced communicator and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
