Anderson Knight is partnering with a reputable Glasgow-based client to hire an experienced HR Adviser. The client, operates a hybrid working model once initial training has been completed, allowing you to work from home 2 days per week. There is also some travel involved in the role therefore a drivers license is required. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the wider HR team to offer comprehensive advice and guidance on various employee relation matters. Conduct training sessions and provide coaching to line managers, equipping them with the necessary skills to handle employee relations issues effectively. Disciplinary and Grievance Management - Offer counsel and support in disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring fair and consistent procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Deliver generalist HR support to all divisions within the organisation, serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. Assist in managing long-term absences, working closely with individuals and relevant stakeholders to facilitate a smooth return-to-work process. Participate in initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement, contributing ideas and support to enhance workplace culture and morale. Provide support to employees through the company's welfare programme, offering assistance and resources to address personal and professional challenges. Criteria: Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in an employee relations or HR Adviser role, demonstrating proficiency in handling various HR challenges. Thorough understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices, ensuring compliance and promoting a positive work environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Influence and Initiative: Strong influencing skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative in driving HR initiatives forward. Possession of a full driving license and willingness to travel occasionally as required for the role
