A Day in the Life
As an Advanced Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all medication needs and regulatory compliance are met for our patients. You’ll work across various pharmacy workstations, focusing on:
* Collaborating with supervisors to coordinate workflow for medication preparation and processing.
* Rotating through various pharmacy workstations, including Packaging, Staging, Returns, and more.
* Receiving product deliveries, staging products for distribution, and ensuring accurate and timely shipments.
* Conducting physical inventories of medications.
* Performing data entry for IV medications, pumps, and supplies.

Required Qualifications
* Certification: Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state law.
* Experience: One (1) or more years as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
* Certification: Compounding Sterile IV Products for Pharmacy Technicians Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experiences are a plus:
* Experience in the long-term care industry.
* Background in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
* PTCB National Certification.
* Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
Education
* Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 24
Time Type: Part-time
Compensation
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade. Actual offers will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography.
