Role Overview
We’re looking for a compassionate, resilient person who can support individuals with highly complex needs – including mental health needs, learning disabilities, addiction‑related challenges and other barriers to independent living – in a calm, consistent and person‑centred way. The role is emotionally and mentally demanding, so we value steady under pressure, trust‑building, empathy, and professional boundaries.
Responsibilities
* Support with medication, personal care, meal preparation and maintaining a safe home environment
* Provide practical and emotional support with daily living, routines, appointments and community access
* Help individuals manage challenges linked to mental health, addiction and independent living in a safe and respectful way
What Makes This Role Unique
This is a chance to support people who have faced significant challenges but are determined to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. The right candidate will recognise the importance of being a calm, reliable presence and will take pride in helping people achieve the outcomes that matter to them. The people we support enjoy a range of everyday activities – swimming, baking, walks, music and football – and value support workers who are willing to engage, encourage and share in those moments.
