Skills & Qualifications
Whilst there are no formal qualifications required for this role, we believe that the following will be highly desirable.
· Be an excellent communicator, being able to speak and write fluent English. Any additional= languages are a bonus when dealing with global clients and supply chains.
· Hold a full UK driving licence, have a car and be able to travel as and when required.
· Have firsthand knowledge of manufacturing across multiple substrates gained through professional work experience
· Have a project management qualification (PFQ, Prince2, PMP or PgMP) or experience of managing complex projects and using specific project management software (we use Monday.Com)
· Be competent working with the whole Microsoft office suite
The role
· We will require the successful postholder to be familiar with the design software capabilities and work closely with the in-house design team to get the required designs to the client or progressed for manufacture.
· Be able to read, understand and interpret CAD drawings into a specification and project plan
· The skills and experience to obtain quotes for all elements from the supply chain
· Produce client estimates in a professional manner
· Work with the New business team in-house to provide quotes and aid in winning business
· Process orders, placing PO’s with suppliers, creating customer sales orders
· Maintain detailed records of all jobs and ensuring all files are saved in the central database
· Communicate clearly with customers and keep them updated throughout the production process.
· This role will be primarily managing retail display and exhibitions across the UK & Globe. We will provide the necessary customer information and background to our existing client base.
· Invoicing clients at the end of the job
· There will also be an element of supplier management, engaging with new suppliers to support your specialist area, visiting suppliers to build relationships, conducting audits etc.
· Work with the team to utilise expertise from across the broad specialisms within 25/8 Group
