You'll be the first person called when office devices (mainly print/MFDs) need help-clearing jams, doing first-line repairs, swapping common parts/consumables, and keeping the fleet running smoothly. You'll also monitor devices via dashboards, move/relocate units on site, and escalate complex issues to field engineers when needed. An on-site electric van is provided for your work. What you'll do First-line fixes: Clear jams and errors, perform basic mechanical/electrical repairs, replace common parts (rollers, trays, filters) and consumables. Preventive maintenance: Run regular checks to keep uptime high; clean devices and surrounding areas. Fleet monitoring: Use IT tools/dashboards to track device status, toner levels, alerts, and usage; take proactive actions. Moves & setups: Safely move/relocate machines within the site and help with basic setups under standard procedures. Inventory & ordering: Maintain on-site parts/consumables inventory; place replenishment orders as needed. Ticketing & records: Log all work in the service system (tickets, parts used, device notes) and keep accurate on-site records. Escalation: When an issue goes beyond first-line scope, escalate to engineers per the agreed procedures and service levels. Customer liaison: Be the friendly on-site contact, coordinate with the Customer Service/Service Desk team, and update users on status. Van stewardship: Use and charge the on-site electric van responsibly; keep it clean and ready for operations. What you'll bring Entry-level experience: Eager to learn with basic mechanical/electrical aptitude. Foundational IT skills: Comfortable with device dashboards, ticketing tools, simple driver/connection checks (Wi-Fi/Ethernet, IP, USB), and following step-by-step procedures. Problem-solving mindset: Know when to try a first fix and when to escalate. Organized & reliable: Good at record-keeping and following schedules/SOPs. Full driving license. Security Check (SC) clearance (or eligibility to obtain). Physical & work requirements Active role: frequent walking/standing; bending/squatting; lifting up to 30 kg; and driving for 50% of the day as needed on site. Works under clearly defined procedures with close support available. Follows all safety and site rules. Success looks like High device uptime and clean, well-maintained fleet. Quick first-line fixes and smart escalations. SLA targets achieved and happy end users. Accurate logs and tidy parts/consumables inventory.
