Grounds Maintenance Charge Hand Banbury £28,206 - £ 29,690 per year 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day We are looking to recruit a Landscape Technician Charge Hand to join our Estate Services team, based in Banbury. You will work within a small team of 2 and be responsible for the maintenance of communal grounds including grass cutting, trimming hedges and weeding flower beds, and you will cover various sites within an hour of Banbury. It will be your responsibility to ensure the grounds look presentable for any visitors. You will be responsible for the maintenance of all tools and equipment. The role of Grounds Maintenance Charge Hand will include: Providing supervisory support in keeping estates well maintained and clean Litter picking, shrub pruning, grass and hedge cutting, weed spraying and removal and dealing with fly tipping clearances Using equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessment and the manufacturer’s guidance Carrying out all hazardous tasks such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines ensuring relevant records are maintained to comply with health and safety and legal requirements Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations Skills and experiences: Pesticide Application Certificate PA1 – PA6 (or equivalent) Recent experience of undertaking a similar role with experience of operating gardening machinery This role will involve driving on company business.
