Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team on a short-term basis. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
1. Washing up plates, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment
2. Keeping all kitchen and pot wash areas clean, tidy, and hygienic
3. Assisting with basic food preparation when required
4. Following all health & safety and food hygiene standards
5. Emptying bins and managing kitchen waste safely
6. Putting away deliveries and restocking supplies
7. Supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times
Skills & Experience
8. Previous kitchen or porter experience beneficial but not essential
9. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
10. Strong work ethic and positive attitude
11. Reliable, punctual, and flexible
12. Awareness of food hygiene and health & safety procedures desirable
