Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high quality, person-centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. The support we offer is tailored to the individual client’s needs and encourages independence and community engagement.
The Tameside Extra Care Services comprise of four extra care sites across the Tameside borough and we now have a newly created role at each of the four sites: our Dukinfield service, our Ashton Under Lyne service, our Stalybridge service and our Droylsden service.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Extra Care Coordinator and Registered Manager in ensuring an empowering service which meets the needs of clients and works with families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere.
* Provide support with personal care and domestic tasks.
* Support individuals to access work, education and social opportunities.
* Work in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
Qualifications
* Previous care experience working with vulnerable adults is essential.
* Flexible, energetic and reliable.
* Gumption and a can-do attitude.
