About the Role
RPS is seeking a Principal EIA Consultant to join our team, based in Abingdon, London, Cardiff, Manchester, or Edinburgh. We are engaged in some of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, including large-scale energy developments such as solar, offshore wind, interconnectors, and energy storage. Our portfolio includes the Gatwick Airport Northern Runway Project, Morgan and Mona Offshore Wind Projects, and others.

Responsibilities
* Manage EIA projects within a consultancy environment and provide advice on EIA Regulations.
* Partner with multidisciplinary teams including health impact assessment, sustainability, climate change, planning, ecology, heritage, and transport.
* Draft reports, including project descriptions, non-technical summaries, and bid documents.
* Sign off on Environmental Statements and advise clients on all aspects of EIA.
* Mentor junior team members and collaborate with digital and design teams to enhance digital EIA capacity.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have excellent report writing skills, experience managing EIA projects, and detailed knowledge of the EIA process. A relevant environmental degree and experience in consultancy are essential, with digital EIA experience and NSIP/DCO project experience being desirable. A full UK driving license is required.
