Accounts Assistant ( Monday-Thursday -15 hours total per week -flexible times across the 4 days)
Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. Must have experience with SAGE accounts, this role is primarily focused on accounts payable/receivable duties, credit control and handling incoming customer account queries, both by email and telephone. You will also play a key role in ensuring invoices are raised and paid on time, while also delivering a friendly and professional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Raise and send customer invoices accurately and promptly
* Process and allocate incoming payments, received by card, internet banking and cheque.
* Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue invoices
* Answer incoming calls and assist customers with account queries
* Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications
* Support the finance team with general administrative tasks
Requirements
* Previous experience in an account assistant or finance admin role (preferred)
* Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and credit control processes
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and colleagues
* Good IT skills, including Excel and email (Outlook or similar)
* Strong organisational skills, detail-focused, and able to work independently
* Experience using Sage is required
