In-house Solicitor (5+ years') – Edinburgh
A leading UK law firm is seeking an In-House Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to join its In-House Legal team. You will work on regulatory compliance, contract governance, legal risk and internal legal support across the business.
Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Law Society of Scotland, SRA)
* Monitoring legal and regulatory changes and advising the business accordingly
* Assisting with internal legal process improvements and risk management
* Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures
* Handling quality assurance and internal audit matters
* Reviewing and negotiating client and supplier contracts
* Developing expertise in data protection and contributing to training programmes

* Take a pragmatic and commercial approach
* Communicate confidently with colleagues and stakeholders
* Be a quick learner with excellent attention to detail
* Work independently, managing competing priorities and deadlines
* Be interested in the wider business operations beyond legal services
