Corporate Commercial Lawyer – In-House Legal Team (Hybrid, Derbyshire)
Our international client is seeking a Corporate Commercial Lawyer to join their highly respected in‑house legal team. This diverse and engaging role offers exposure to corporate transactions, commercial contract drafting, and a wide range of business‑focused legal work.
The role is based in Derbyshire, with a hybrid working policy requiring 3 days per week in the office.
Ideal Candidate
Be a UK‑qualified solicitor with:
* Strong academic background and training from a reputable law firm
* Experience advising on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations
* A solid grounding in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
Key Capabilities
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, commercial environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A pragmatic, business‑oriented approach to legal advice
Background
* In‑house experience is desirable, but candidates from private practice with strong commercial exposure and business awareness are also encouraged to apply
Experience Level
Our client anticipates that candidates with NQ‑4 years’ PQE will have the relevant level of experience for this role. However, this PQE range is provided as a guide only — applications from candidates outside this range are welcomed where the appropriate skills and experience can be demonstrated.
