Hourly Rate: £12.37 - £13.49 per hour

This is an exciting time to join our new school as we grow and succeed. We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support Primary Education within Years 2 to 4.
The role:
Your role involves supporting children with their learning and wellbeing. With small class sizes of up to 8 students, you can build strong relationships and help each child reach their potential in a caring, safe environment. Support may include assisting with care needs and positive behaviour management, adopting tailored approaches for each child.
You will establish warm, supportive relationships to ensure pupils feel safe, enjoy learning, and develop independence. You will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, differentiated educational activities across a broad curriculum, aiming for all pupils to achieve their full potential.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, term time only. 8.30am start, finishing at 5pm on Mondays, 4.30pm Tuesday to Thursday, and 4pm on Fridays. Additionally, 2.5 hours weekly for training and duties.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or equivalent (desirable)
* GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above (essential)
* Experience in an education setting
* Understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
* Experience with SEMH learners with complex needs
* Commitment to putting the child first
* Positive, creative approach to meeting needs
* Full clean driving licence
