We’re expanding our Property Services team and are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Repairs Manager to oversee the delivery of responsive repairs across our housing portfolio. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing operational teams and supply chain partners to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll play a vital part in improving service delivery, driving performance, and supporting our commitment to resident satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Overseeing the triage, scheduling, and completion of repairs, including emergency works and damp and mould cases
* Ensuring full compliance with Awaab’s Law and other statutory obligations
* Leading and developing a high performing team of Technicians, Coordinators, and Supervisors
* Monitoring KPIs such as first time fix rates, completion times, and resident satisfaction
* Responding to complaints and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and service recovery
* Managing subcontractors and ensuring all works meet Paradigm’s standards
* Supporting strategic planning and contributing to policy development
* Producing accurate performance and compliance reports
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing or a direct labour organisation
* Strong understanding of housing legislation, including HHSRS and Awaab’s Law
* Technical knowledge of building maintenance and health and safety standards
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams
* Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
* Strong analytical skills and confidence in interpreting data
* High level of IT proficiency and report writing skills
* Full, clean UK driving licence
Experience with emerging building technologies and contributing to policy development would be an advantage.
