Join a leading player in the plastics distribution industry as an Account Manager for New England. This remote-based role offers autonomy, mentorship, and strong growth potential. You’ll manage and expand a territory that spans Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire—building customer relationships and driving new business.
Role at a Glance
* Drive regional sales growth across MA, RI, and NH with a 50/50 split between account management and new business development.
* Make in-person visits to clients 3.5 days per week, focusing on building relationships and uncovering new opportunities.
* Navigate complex, long-cycle sales across healthcare, industrial, and consumer markets.
* Prospect cold leads and open new accounts through face-to-face engagement.
* Work autonomously in a high-competition, fast-paced environment.
Hiring Criteria
* 3–10+ years of B2B sales experience in plastics, distribution, or industrial sectors.
* Proven success in prospecting, cold calling, and managing long sales cycles (3 months to 2 years).
* Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, and other digital reporting tools.
* Strong organizational, presentation, and time management skills.
* Comfortable with in-person selling and frequent regional travel (80%).
