Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Swindon (and surrounding areas)
Salary: £20 per hour + £30 per hour overtime (after 45 hrs)
Benefits: Paid door-to-door, Monday to Friday only, no weekends, company van + fuel card
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join our team in the Swindon area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual who takes pride in their work and wants the flexibility of a mobile role without weekend shifts.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs at customer premises and roadside locations. With a fully equipped van and fuel card provided, you’ll be paid from the moment you leave home to the moment you return.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to a high standard.
Attend roadside breakdowns and provide efficient, professional support.
Complete job cards and paperwork accurately.
Deliver excellent customer service while working independently.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.Requirements
Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Experience with HGV maintenance and repair.
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.What We Offer
£20 per hour basic rate.
£30 per hour overtime (anything over 45 hours).
Paid door-to-door travel.
Monday to Friday – no weekends required.
